The Secrets of Youth
Live longer - feel
better - stay healthy
The Fountain of Youth
When explorer Ponce d’ Leon landed in
Florida he found a race of people no one knew existed.
The people he found there were over 6 feet tall, robust
and lived to be an average age of 90. Compared to
the 5' 5" Europeans whose average life expectancy was
38, the famed explorer thought he had found the fountain
of youth. Of course we now know that the funny tasting
sulphur water had nothing to do with the genetics of a
long and healthy life. Fortunately for us,
scientists are now identifying the very signposts of
aging and are finding effective tools to combat what was
once considered to be the inevitable.
But what if we don’t have to suffer
the effects of aging? What if we could greatly
reduce or completely eliminate the once thought of signs
of age, like wrinkles, aches and pains, arthritis,
Osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s, dementia and the atrophy of
our muscles?
What if!
Why Do We Age?
There are a number of theories as to
why we get older. One is just plain old wear and
tear. Another is based on genetics or the idea
that there is planned encoded obsolescence in our DNA.
But those are mostly speculation. What science
does know is that several of our hormones are greatly
reduced as we age and the symptoms of aging are the same
as the symptoms of hormone deficiency. For
example, a very specific hormone called the Human Growth
Hormone (HGH), which is produced in the pituitary gland
of the brain, is greatly reduced as we age. This hormone
is the most abundant neurohormone produced by the brain
in our youth, but decreases dramatically as we age.
Researchers have long known that peak HGH production
coincides with the rapid growth phase of adolescence,
which is how the hormone got its name. HGH
declines with age in every animal species that has been
evaluated. By age 40 we are producing only about
one-half the HGH hormone that we were in our youth.
HGH production slows down and we start showing signs of
aging.
What are the Signs of
Aging?
How long do you want to live?
10 years? 20 years? 50 years more?
It’s not out of reach anymore. What is your energy
level like today? Are you are active as you were
20 years ago. What about 20 years from now?
Would you like to be just as active then as now?
Compared to 20 years ago, do you feel
happy most of the time, or are you subject to mood
swings and depression on the occasion? Is unwanted
anxiety or stress part of your life?
Are you cutting down on social
activities and participation? How many hours a
week do you work or engage in productive activity?
Do you have trouble sleeping or find that you are often
awakened during the night? How’s your memory
recall these days?
If the answer to the above questions
is: ‘not as good as it used to be,’ then you are
suffering the effects of getting older. Some feel
that such factors are just a fact of life and cannot be
altered or changed, but science is proving that is not
the case.
Can Science Stop
Aging?
We can certainly slow it down-
dramatically! While we know that restoring hormone
levels to normal youthful levels is not the only thing
that is needed, it has been clearly proven that the
effects of aging can be dramatically slowed. This
means that with proper treatment a person now has the
ability to live far beyond their normal life expectancy,
but more importantly, they can live a very vibrant,
healthy, pain-free, and active life. There is no
reason that you can not live well into your 100's, and
be active and enjoy everyday of your life.
Why Isn’t Everyone
Doing It?
That is the logical question isn’t
it? The answer is not quite as simple. For
some, it is not within their financial means. This
is new and cutting edge science and like most new and
innovative things, it is relatively costly. For
others who can afford it, they simply don’t get the word
that something can be done to slow the effects of aging.
Also, not all physicians are trained in Anti-aging.
The training and advanced education needed by your
health care professional to administer the program is
extensive. Perhaps in years to come, it will be
available to everyone, but for now only a few have the
wherewithal to benefit from these fantastic new
developments in science.
What are the Benefits
of Optimizing Hormone Levels?
The proven benefits are almost too
numerous to list but here are some of the benefits that
you can expect from restoring hormone levels.
* Increased Muscle Mass
* 15 - 20% Fat Loss

What Can I Do Next?
First, it is paramount that your
current state of health is determined before any
treatment begins. You should consult your personal
physician before starting any program.
Then you need to be sure that you are
getting all the proper vitamins and anti-aging
supplements you need to insure proper brain, heart and
body functions. This includes the possibility of
treating excessive stress.
What Are Some of
Supplements That I Should Be Taking?
There is a significant amount of
research now indicating the benefits of
Omega 3 in your
diet. In addition, a good regimen of
B Complex Vitamins
and a
Magnesium Supplement
Skin Care
While proper diet, exercise and
supplemental therapy are certainly part of slowing the
aging process, many people are concerned with the
condition of their skin and their looks now.
Especially their face. Nothing is better for a
person's self confidence than looking younger than their
years. A high quality
Anti-Aging skin care process
The Last Word!
Anti-aging therapy is a bold new and
challenging field. It takes a highly skilled and
trained physician and a cooperative and informed patient
to slow or stop the effects of age.
It’s your life to live as you choose
- live it long and well!
