Eating Tips for the Holidays

Tis the season to be eating......cookies, canapes, sausage, stuffing, giblet gravy, cake, pumpkin pie...it’s also the season to blow your diet....but you don’t have to.....today’s tip is "be kind to yourself."  Recognize that this can be a difficult time and be sensitive to your needs.  Give yourself permission to eliminate holiday "shoulds".  Let another relative host Christmas dinner this year and don’t you feel obligated to accept every holiday party invitation you get.  In other words - reduce the amount of stress you’ll experience this holiday season and you will probably find you won’t be having the holiday weight gain that so many do.
